A couple of weeks back, I visited the Rosebowl flea market in hopes of finding a giant frame (which I did) and also some vintage pieces for the house. After browsing endless rows of second-hand booths, I noticed that people were turning old frames into these cool chalkboard and charging $30-$100! I thought to myself I could make 5 boards for $30 and accepted the challenge. Yes, I made a bet with myself!
Here is what you need:
-frame(s)
-chalkboard paint or chalkboard contact paper (I used the contact paper)
-Scissors

Measure and cut. The grid behind the contact paper made cutting straight a cinch! |

Peel and stick. And TA-DA! Your very own chalkboard for less than $5! |
This was such a fun project and I hope you find it enjoyable as well!
