My Sunday was spent hanging around the neighborhood exploring new places to eat... I must admit it's one of my favorite hobbies.  I apologize for not taking pictures of my adventure, it wasn't until I got home that I remembered to take an outfit picture... sorry, you guys get to see the boring facade in front of my complex.

I am loving the colored pants trend this season!  I wore these jeans earlier this month in a more casual way here , but I felt daring and wanted to work these jeans for the office.  And nothing feels more corporate than wearing a blazer HA!

Recycle

I've worn this dress a million different ways and I never fail to come up with a different way to wear it.  Best ten bucks I've ever spent!  How do you re-wear a certain garment?  I'm giving up shopping for Lent (that's 40 days?!?) and would love to know how you recreate your outfits.

February is about pampering yourself, especially after all the holidays and new years and BirchBox included all the "tools" to help you get started.  These samples are put together to highlight our 'awesomeness'... and maybe attract a little attention?!?  I wished this box came in before Valentines day HA!

A Day At The Zoo

Lover boy whisked me away to Santa Barbara for a belated birthday present and I had an amazing time.  We rented bikes and rode them to the zoo, where we got to feed the giraffes!  I didn't want to discriminate so we fed every animal we were allowed to.  I loved every minute of it!  I hope to one day own and operate a farm.  How awesome would that be?!?

Channeling the casual vibe of the beachy city, I went for the 'relaxed' look and wore skinny jeans, t-shirt, un-zipped boots (I like the messy look that this added to the outfit), and my trusted military jacket.

Happy valentine's day! This is what I wore on my date with Lover boy and let me tell you, these pictures do not do this dress justice!  I wish I took off my jacket, but didn't want to risk getting sick.  Don't worry, I definitely will wear this dress again.

As you can tell, I'm OBSESSED with the low-high hem!  I think it's very flattering on me, since it gives me an illusion of being taller than I really am. HA!  (The Jeffrey Campbell definitely helps too).  :)

Happy Pants

I wore these turquoise jeans to brighten up the gloomy day today.  We had 2 weeks of beautiful weather, so I knew it was a matter of time before the rain came.  I downplay the playful color with a dark tee, black boots and messy hair.  I apologize for the crotch shot, I wanted to show off my lively bracelets (which doesn't do it justice.)

Lover boy and I went to Palm Springs and stopped by Morongo to scratch our gambling itch and let's just say, I should have went to the outlet down the street instead.  Good thing I was wearing these "happy" pants because it would have been a very lackluster day. HA! 

Red Red Wine

I love how California has so much elements to offer; the mountains, ocean, the deserts!  This past weekend I went away to Santa Barbara with a few girlfriends for a bachelorette party and it's like we escaped to another world.  On this particular day, we visited three different vineyards and yes the drinking started at 10 in the morning!  The lesson I learned was wine tasting is a marathon, NOT a sprint!  I was surprised I stood straight enough to take these pictures. HA.

P.S. the whole time I was singing "red red wine" by Bob Marley.  It was a good day.

I See Spots

We were blessed with 85 degrees weather this weekend and I took advantage of it to bare some skin!  I love how playful this top is, conservative in the front, provocative in the back!
