I never thought I would get married, let alone envisioned what it was going to look like.  So when the Mister got down on one knee and popped the question, no one was more shocked then me.  I tackled this wedding planning like how I take on all most new tasks, I googled it.  As I scrolled through endless wedding pictures, I noticed I am drawn to the bohemian, vintage-y, simplistic kind of nuptial.  I find it truly magical!

I'm a tee and jeans kinda girl so for a day of running errands and attending meetings, that's exactly what I wore.  I love how effortlessly cool and chic this came together.  Come to think of it; I spent more time curling my hair!

Decisions, Decisions

The BIG day is fast approaching and the Mister & I have yet to make any plans.  YIKES!

To help with my procrastination, I made a list of things I need to accomplish each month and this month week, I am tasked with 3 honeymoon proposals.  I do have my priorities straight. HA!

After college I made a deal (with myself) that I would take one international vacation every year and I've been lucky enough to keep my word.  With that being said, I want my honeymoon to be memorable and to stand out in my passport.  Any suggestions on a destination?

I thought about a safari in South Africa, but the amount of shots I need to take is a big turn off.  Or trying out my bargaining skills at the spice market in Morocco?  How about the colorful cultures in India?  OR should I take the relaxation route and head to Bali or Bora Bora?

Happy day-before Valentine's Day, Loves!

There are a few things in this world that instantly puts me in a good mood and that's painting my nails! Some people go on shopping sprees, get massages or get some sort of makeover, but what joy an $8 (cheaper if you buy them on amazon) product does to my spirits!

Below are steps by steps instructions on how to glam up your nails for Valentine's Day, even if you're spending it solo, you deserve it!

Step 1: Apply one thin coat of Base Coat

Pro tip- Always apply base coat before any polish, this will prevent your nails from turning yellow.

Step 2: Paint 2 coats of your desired nail polish.  I actually applied 3 coats since this color leaves brush stokes.  The extra coat will help with that.

Step 3: Take your glittery nail polish and paint only the top half of your nails.

I find it easier to do this if you were to paint them sideways.

One coat is fine, but to make the glitter pops even more, I applied two coats.

Step 4: Apply top coat and voila- Pretty nails!

With lots of practice, it's like a professional did them. WINK!

I've been collecting floral prints of all sizes and colors all winter and I'm just waiting for the perfect right opportunity to wear them.  The sun is finally making it's appearance in LA and I jumped at the chance to wear this pretty watercolor floral print peplum top.

We're almost half way through the work week!

Hello lovelies! I apologize for falling off the face of this world, but I went through quite a few life changing experiences and now I'm back!

I'm excited to share with you all that I am now ENGAGED!  

I'll be sharing a few of my wedding plans with you all as well as (a lot) of DIYs and new ways to re-wear what you have in the closet!  Saving has never been my thing and I'm finding it easier than what I've imagined.
