Travel Dairy- Macau

 Ruins of St. Paul's

Doesn't this look like you're in Europe?

Only in Macau do they serve you hot tea while playing the slots

While in Hong Kong, the bf and I escaped the chaotic city for a little European-que city.  Macau was formally a Portuguese colony, which was handed back to China in 1999.  The mix of Chinese and Portuguese cultures had made Macau unique and you can see/taste it the architects and food.  It was amazing (or shocking) to see hints of European characteristics in rural China, I loved walking around town and seeing how each block is different.

Oh, Macau is also known as "Vegas of Asia".  You know that's why we made a trip there HAHA

Happy Tuesday!
